Oldsalt77 1
I see that xn has updated their website. Looks like the collapsable stock is now standard. I wonder if these are shipping yet. http://www.mkaarms.com

Flatland Shooter 22
I guess I need a little history lesson. I was under the impression that the company that makes the MKA 1919 XN and MKA 1919 Match was not the same company that made the pre-XN guns. From their website though I noticed several video clips touting the MKA 1919 that were taped before the XN versions were even offered. Bill From my understanding,( don't remember exact CO names so . . ) There were 2 partners to start with when the first MKA came out, they later split to produce MKA XN & BR99 . Now the MKA XN guy retired? sold to his son. The Match is the next gen of the MKA. Seems the BR99 is going over good in Europe, but a flop here. Just the opposite in Europe. Something about how they got classified under the VAT tax or some other screwy deal that makes the MKA about double the cost of the BR99.
krystofer66 1
Just curious to find out more about the Import Ban on these. I remember hearing some word of mouth stuff but never read any news on the subject.
toothandnail 275
No ban, I've never heard this.
Flatland Shooter 22
I think that for one of these to have a legal collapsing stock, it needs to be 922r compliant. Since from the factory, none of the parts are US made it cannot be imported. Once the fixed stock gun is imported and several critical parts are upgraded with US made parts, then you can install the collapsible stock. Also makes it legal for large cap magazines. The trick is getting the gun into the US. (OOPS, Matt beat me to the draw with the same explanation on another thread.)
