Lone Eagle 839
Another one of the greatest gone, but never forgotten. Blues and Rock and Roll Heaven is getting crowded. Gaddis 1,689
My wife's quote exactly, "Now the King of Rock-n-Roll can play with the King of Blues forever." Somehow that doesn't sound like it came out completely right.
ChileRelleno 7,071
RIP Mr. BB King. One of my Aunties is a huge Blues/Jazz fan, and an accomplished Jazz/Soul singer in her own right. Many decades back, on her birthday, her husband took her to see BB at a small venue in Los Angeles, unknown to her he'd paid BB a very nice sum to make her night a little special. BB called her out by name, said "Happy Birthday" to her and serenaded her directly. To her this was one mere step away from being serenaded by the angels of heaven. If I recall correctly, my Uncle Rob could do no wrong in her eyes for a very long time Gotta brag on my Auntie a bit, I'm proud of her... Google Mary Bogue, she is an Artist of many talents, painter, TV & screen actress and Jazz singer.

XD45 7,124
The world is a little less today. BB had more talent in his little finger than kanye, jay-z, and all the rest put together. RIP Blues Boy
