The thing is I went with what was the factory set up on both to determine which should go on which rifle. This allows for me to use the entire design of each sight base to it's maximum potential because the way it's made, the sight base ramps the sight up and down and the slide with the push button lock, holds the sight in place. The base is machined to work with that type of sight so I matched it up with one. It's a nice sight, I'd say better than the notch sight and it hooks right into the stock position with no issues.
