“Today’s decree says that my Ruler, and the Ruler of 320 million Americans coast-to-coast, is a majority of the nine lawyers on the Supreme Court,” he writes.

“This practice of constitutional revision by an unelected committee of nine, always accompanied (as it is today) by extravagant praise of liberty, robs the People of the most important liberty they asserted in the Declaration of Independence and won in the Revolution of 1776: the freedom to govern themselves.”

Decision like this piece of Political payola are why we NEED to remove the appointment of SCOTUS Judges from the President AND Congress.

We need the States to both propose candidates and vote them in/out of office without undue influence from partisan political politics.

We need more like Scalia and less like Sodimier..

I  have read of many alternatives to this corrupt federal judiciary system and well most are far better than what exists.

The best was each state sent one representative to the highest court which places power back into the hands of the states.

But then these are still men so we get back to same problems anyway.

One "tool" left in the toolbox and no one wants to use it, soon it will be also gone. Heh

Way back then and when, US Sinisters ... er ... Senators,  (opps) were appointed by State Governors.  Made a big difference.  And ... can't these 6 idiots even read?  The US Constitution 10th amendment is pretty easy language.  Just me.  Respectfully.  HB of CJ (oldest coot)

Do you honestly believe that would be a fucking improvement?!  The same political States' hacks that overrule their own locals to pass whatever-the-fuck they want (like new stadiums for billionaire sports teams but make the taxpayers pay for that shit?!). Does the name Cuomo ring a fucking bell?!

To quote "Hudson," It's over man, it's just over.

Is Obama the first gay POTUS?

Un-fucking believable. We could power the entire country with the bodies of the founding fathers spinning in their graves.

Truly disgusting!

At this point, it wouldn't surprise me if Barry comes out as gay, and Michelle that it was born a man.

The larger the organization, the easier it is for a few to manipulate it. To get a 2/3 vote by 2/3 of the States, candidates would have to be a lot more centrist than what we get now.
