Kinda small flap up here in SW OR USA.  Seems we have a nice range in Jackson County North of the airport.  The local liberal rag newspaper is claiming that the Feds are claiming that Tracer Ammo is "Banned" from use at the aforementioned rifle, pistol and trap range because of alleged fire starts.  Who in their right mind would shoot off Tracer ammo this time of year to begin with?  Something sounds fishy here.   Is this true?  If soss, then news to me.  Any knowledgeable opinions or knowledge here?  Thank you. That's true for public lands, but what about private?

Good Q.  Looking around it seems murky.  No clear answer but what is clear is that with the recent high temps in the region, anyone who fires tracer ammo around here needs to have their head clearly out of their a** and make sure no fires are caused...

Thank you Long Shot.  Exactly what I was trying to remember, but could not.  Now the question shall be will the State determine fire season to be all year long?  Just thinking out load-er loud here.  We have a max weird governor and a hard demo majority in both houses in Salem.  The same liberal commie news paper had an idiot toral  er editorial applauding what our sinisters and legislooters did this session in Salem Oregon.  They practically accused law abiding citizens of on purpose shooting off dangerous T and I ammo just to start fires.  Very unbelievable but most idiot people will read that garbage and believe it to be completely true because it is in the newspaper.  Such if life up and out here.  Just me.  HB

Well, as for now the guidelines are fairly clear as related to fire season declaration.

Considering all the revenue producing activities that are affected by the declaration of fire season, I would expected to see a harsh and swift outcry over tampering with the process by our un-elected, self proclaimed " first openly bi-sexual " tree hugging, freedom hating, fruit cake governor.

I think after it rains for a while again you should be GTG to light off that MA Duce in your basement with all the tracer ammo you want.

Please feel free to laugh maniacally while doing so (B)

No it was Or.

The last mayor of Portland, Sam Adams was ( in his own words) "America's first openly queer mayor "

Then Disgraced Governor John Kitzhobber forced to resign for corruption. Along with his live in girlfriend running a crony capitalism scheme out of the governors mansion with " Green Energy " companies. Complete with purchase of policies from government officials.

So the Secretary of State Kate Brown, ( in her own words) " Americas first openly bisexual governor" is now in the governor seat, who BTW happens to be married to man. I guess she was born that way too.

The whole political structure here is like some badly written movie based on a comic book.

If it wasn't so ef'ed up it would be laughable.

ETA; Make no mistake, Washington state has it's fair share of Bat Shit Crazy politicians as well.

Thank you all.  Now that shitty stupid Oregon law comes back to mind.  Yep, we have gone through the looking glass.  Down that rabbit hole.  This is getting serious.  We boggied out of Dodge Kommiefornika back in 1987.  Moved to SW OR.  Now we are beginning to think long term about moving again.  I am now 69.  Yes we are serious.  How many times can we do this?  AZ and MT look good. HB :( :(

Than you GunFun.  Time for another small donation to Oregon Federation Of Firearms.  OFF.  That and another dozen E-mails to everybody involved.  Does anybody on staff even read this stuff?  Or is it just logged and dumped into some big memory?  Does the bad politician ever even see my E-mails?  I can no longer afford the time and money for USPS letters.  Do not go gently into the night.  HB

That's right,

Stand and fight, I for one am not ready to just give up my beloved state over to the liberal idiots.

My kids need somewhere to live after I'm gone.
