forsaken352 235
does any company currently manufacture a drum for the saiga 762x39? As far as I know, for a factory Saiga 7.62x39, no drum magazines are available. I've never owned a x39 Saiga, however, I do believe in order to use a drum, you must first install a bullet guide in your rifle to accept standard AK mags. When it comes to drum magazines for a standard AK, I've always heard the Chinese were the best, but I could be mistaken. It's been awhile since I've read up on it. I know rear loading is better than top loading, though. You can remove the spring tension while it's loaded, then when ready, twist the knob a few times, and it's ready to go. Easier to load, too. With that said, here's a video on how to install a bullet guide: Lastly, if I remember correctly, you said you were in New York, right? I'm not too familiar with your laws, but I'm pretty sure, especially with the new "Safe Act", a drum magazine is a no go. Remember to check your local laws first. Hope this helps.
