XD45 7,124
Installation was pretty standard AK except for the roll pin. Without the roll pin the safety did prevent the hammer from dropping but just barely. So I went ahead and put the roll pin in. The pin goes in to a certain point and then stops. It is necessary to grind the pin to get the length right. I ground it so that the safety would move freely but the trigger would barely move when pulled. This turns out to have an unintended consequence that the hammer cannot be cocked when the safety is on. Since the safety blocks the bolt carrier anyway I don't see this as important. Never mind. That's normal AK trigger operation. First impressions... Lightest AK trigger I've ever pulled. I don't have a trigger gauge but it's under 3lb. Also the shortest travel I've ever felt on an AK. Keeping in mind my experience is with AK triggers does not include professionally tuned triggers. I like the nearly flat profile for both feel and look. I'll be taking it to the range Sunday so I'll follow up then. Edited August 7, 2015 by Darth Saigus

gunfun 3,931
I repeat the request for an unsponsored video review. Also a few target pictures/ video to see how well you can keep on target. I found the slidey stocks to be sloppy, which was not conducive to offhand accuracy. Not that I want 2" 10 shot groups or anything, but I would like to be able to keep all the hits centermass at 0-25 yards.

XD45 7,124
No update yet. I had to help the spousal unit clear out a house today so no range trip. Hopefully next weekend.

XD45 7,124
Figured I'd finally post an update. I've been shooting the AKT for maybe 500 rounds now between 3 range trips. To sum it up, great trigger. The pull is short. The release is crisp. Minimal overtravel. Short reset. I found the pull too light for my tastes so I bent the hammer spring legs down to give something closer to 4lbs. That feels right to me for this type of firearm. I have not concerned myself with 100yd groups. This is a 10" sbr with a red dot and a shooter with astigmatism. It will ding a 6" plate at 100yds and a 12" plate at 200yds (holding top of the plate). I don't bump fire so I can't say how well it works for that.
DLT 1,646
Thanks for the update. I'm running a G2 that I had to smooth out the hammer hump so that it would stop hanging on my pap sbr. I really like it, but its good to know this trigger is also an option.
