A little while back I acquired a Savage 93 in .22WMR for my youngest son.
Little knucklehead was happy to say the least.
Me being me, and seldom happy with things the way they are, I just had to make some changes.
Wasn't thrilled with the non-Accustock stock, so I ordered a Boyds Rimfire Hunter, bull barrel in Forest Camo laminate and some new bottom hardware from DIProducts.
Everything finally made it to the same place at the same time and 'Abracadabra!'
I love the colors in this stock.
The wood screw boyds provided for the rear of the magwell is too small.
A quick trip to Lowes will remedy that.
The rifle has a standard barrel profile, set in the Bull Barrel stock it is free floating with about an even 1/8" gap all the way to the receiver.
Tomorrow is another range day, so we'll get to see how it shoots in this stock.
Hopefully it is just as accurate as in the factory stock, which was as good as my abilities.
