Jesse James on guns: A ‘higher calling’ than making bikes

Recommended Posts

I at least have respect for him in that he had a thing for blacksmithing at one point and studied that art with some old master. It could be that he's directionless and unfocused but he at least seems to attempt to do things the right way. I know when I was young[er] and dumb[er] "Sons of Guns" was one of the things that first got me into guns and it was only well after Will's unfortunate fate that I realized all the... less desirable, aspects of RJF and that series. So if Jesse got inspired by them, when they made him a custom BAR I can't much blame him.

I actually like the looks of the gun. Other than the saw teeth on the bottom of the forend. The silencer does look silly, but take that off, and the gun looks decent to me. Light is nice. colors are good. fluted is cool. I'd have to put my hand on the forend to decide whether it is a cheese grater or comfortable. Kinda depends on whether my fingers want to fall into the holes. It's a little busy, but aesthetically, I like the whole thing other than the RPG7 round on there.

I doubt his can performs well, but if it worked, I wouldn't care about the novel shape. it would make more sense to have it bulge downward out of your field of view though.
