hoop762 0
anybody know what size screw is used for the S-12 handguard. I dropped mine out in the garage, and once it hits the floor, it mysteriously vanishes. apparently my garage is an antigun liberal
topmaul 42
If worst comes to worst you could drill and tap a new one.
hoop762 0
If worst comes to worst you could drill and tap a new one. true... but i hope it wont come to that. Im building a new front hand guard for the S-12, and ive already got the hole drilled to the proper size. Id hate to have to drill another one and just have a hole there. Im sure SOMEONE will know what size that is
cscharlie 107
Don't know what the original is, although an uncle mike's sling swivel stud screws in to the hole.

Bvamp 604
thats funny. at work, when I am either taking off or putting on switchplate covers, if I drop a screw (onto the concrete floor) and it ?lands right? it is GONE. bounces a friggin mile. I guess we are screwed if we drop em onto a hard surface, huh? get a big magnet that you can drag around the floor is my only suggestion. take it to the shop vac when you open it, you will be surprised at what you can salvage. dinzag 31
Hoop - the S-20's & S-410's have a M5 machine screw. The S-20 is slightly longer. I bought a 1001 pc. variety box/bin with English and Metric screws and nuts for $7 at harbor freight. It has been invaluable for sizing stuff & conversion hardware. I'd be willing to bet the S-12 is the same size.
