Jmoreno88 0
Hello everyone, new to this forum and new owner of a saiga rifle. I have already done my rear side conversion and am 922 compliant. I will be changing out my fsb for an ak74 for muzzle attachments, my question is that is it necessary to change out the gas block? The only reason I could find was to be able to add on a bayonet. Is that correct? I'll be changing out the gas tube and adding the lower handguard retainer but couldn't find a definitive answer if it was necessary to swap the gb. I won't be adding a bayonet so thats not an issue. Thanks for any info
Mullet Man 2,114
Not necessary. But you will also gain a cleaning rod boss. Not worth the hassle IMO, unless you're going for a correct build.
