All it looks like to me is a way for someone who can't sbr their pistol to still get their scorpion fix. I'm under the impression that a longer barrel doesn't improve the ballistics of the 9mm. Ballistic improvement is nil but with increased sight radius, plus you get a sick futuristic looking carbine that uses relatively cheap ammo with very low recoil and blast. More of a fun gun/varmiter than anything. Though I wonder if you could get it bored to 9x21 for a big more punch. A .45ACP would be awesome.
