rmodel65 5
So I have a 23 or 24 inch barreled s12 with the threaded barrel. I've been wanting to convert it by thinking about just buying a vepr12 instead that's asked pistol grip. I've seen them for about 799$ online
haugpatr 972
buy the VEPR keep the S12, never sell a gun, you always regret it
rmodel65 5
That can always be a plan I guess
gunfun 3,931
Either plan above seems reasonable to me.
evlblkwpnz 3,418
If you plan on keeping a shotgun long, get the Vepr 12. If you want something radically short, Saiga 12 is king.
VDW 0
Get a Vepr. Do whatever you want with the Saiga. My preference is like Hog76s. If you can afford to, don't sell anything.

MR_22 35
This answer works for just about any gun choice that ever comes up: Keep what you have and buy more. There is no such thing as too many guns.
JohnnyE 81
I wouldn't fret over selling a Remington 870 or Glock 19, though an S-12, especially if you know it's nice, don't sell.
roblox84 1
It depends if you shoot the s12 at all. I bought maybe 5 s12's a few years ago for resale banking on the fact that people will panic buy like usual when the right guy gets elected into office and I sold them each for $1200 after paying $500 for them. I would say if you can still get over a grand for the s12 then sell it. You can buy a vepr12 and a few accessories for it. Edited April 4, 2016 by roblox84

I no longer feel this way about it. The Vepr 12 can be a great radically short SBS.
