SHOTGUN MESIAH 855
This reminds me of my old ATTEX 6 wheeler I had. Only bigger and 4 wheels. Unless they have some new technology……once water-sand-mud gets in the wheel/ axel bearings, it doesn't take long for them to rust and fail. I used to run mine through lakes and swamps and the bearings would last one season before I would have to change them out. anything that is designed to roll on land is really not meant for the water. G O B 3,516
Like a boat trailer, the wheel bearings need pressure greasers.
mancat 2,368
Ugly thing it reminds me of a fat beetle with wheels for some reason definitely designed for the Russian flatlands Edited February 14, 2016 by mancat
BigChongus 765
I wonder if its buoyancy is dependent on the tires. If that's the case, I'd be scared shitless to drive it over broken ice like that. Otherwise, looks pretty badass.
SHOTGUN MESIAH 855
Like a boat trailer, the wheel bearings need pressure greasers. I had those and water/mud/sand would still work it's way in. The difference between this and a boat trailer is, a trailer your just backing in and out of the water where as something like this your plowing through the water and forcing stuff in. These land/water vehicles are a ton of fun but they take tons of maintenance to keep them going. In my opinion a hovercraft is a much better design for all terrain land/water applications. They even make flying hovercrafts now so you have land, sea and air all covered in one machine. http://www.hovercraft.com/content/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=533 And you don't need a pilots license to kill yourself in one of these…LOL Edited February 14, 2016 by SHOTGUN MESSIAH
