YOT 3,743
...on a warmer day with less wind. Wind chill had the "real feel" at about 18°. After mounting and sighting a new Bushnell Banner I was at the last 14 rounds and went for one group at 100 yards. Conditions were far from perfect, but I was able to squeeze out +/- 1.5 MOA. I sight for 1.4" high at 100 yards to give the round a 200 yard zero, so don't consider that the group isn't at the X. Edited February 22, 2016 by YOT

YOT 3,743
I like it, what ammo did you use? Some reloads. 55gr hollow points with the cases filled to capacity with Varget.

Especially if your barrel is 1:8 or 1:7. Edited February 22, 2016 by Heartbreaker

Especially if your barrel is 1:8 or 1:7. Yeah, I did. It just so happens that 26.5 grains fills the case to within 1/16" of the case mouth and is a compressed load. Lee Second Edition says you can go up to 27.5. That overfills and causes the "charge through" die to clog. My barrel is 1:9 and likes 69 grain bullets real well. Midsouth Shooters Supply Varmint Nightmare 55gr. bullets are what I shoot most of. They are a fantastic bullet for the price. I had read somewhere that they are manufactured by Sierra, but I can't swear to that. They are extremely consistent, though.
Spacehog 2,218
Actually, I think that is fine accuracy considering the HG is not free floated. I have not had a chance to get by Boyd's AR build out yet, but I will be more than happy with 1.5 MOA. Good job and fine shooting.
