THE NEW GUY 113
I myself prefer Hornady , because I have seen a lot of deer shot with them and they are usually drt , no tracking required .

Vance665 225
Winchester. I like white box for range use and PDX-1 for self defense. My Saiga-12 even runs Winchester bulk pack out of MD20s.
ChileRelleno 7,071
@Chile: That is a very well thought out and concise list. I definitely have my favorites for certain calibers. E.g. 7.62x39 Golden Tiger Yugo
BigChongus 765
For the calibers I care about.... 9mm: SD - Critical Duty Target - Sellier & Bellot .40: SD - Gold Dots Target - Usually grab Federal, but anything really goes 7.62x39: If it fits, it ships 5.45x39: Surplus only (duh) 12ga: SD - Critical Defense Blasting - usually Rio 5.56: Target/plinking - M193, any brand, but prefer PPI SD - Anything loaded with 77gr OTMs
Sim_Player 1,939
No preference. None of my guns are "dialed in". They are all expected to perform at respectable ranges with any ammo. I am not a gun or ammo "snob". That mentality cost me a lot of very cheap Saigas, years ago. DLT 1,646
I tend to trust federal more than other brands.
Rhodes1968 1,638
I assume form the above the matter is pistol shotty and x39 cals so; x39: Hornady... of course but its not something I stock a lot of or shoot much due to price. Pistol cals: Liberty Civil Defense... for reasons mentioned in the past. Shotty... no preference anything dependable

storm6490 2,768
RWS This is my favorite round they make. All their shit is nice. Especially the match .22 and contract bullets that you can find cheap from time to time. https://rws-munition.de/en/rws-hunting-area/rws-hunting-ammunition/rws-centerfire-rifle-cartridges-for-hunters.html#!0/31/1 Edited March 17, 2016 by Stryker0946
gunfun 3,931
My own make. Hordady for a lot of stuff, I don't think they are "the best hands down" or anything like that, but their products are consistently consistent. If the label says .308 150 grains, I can expect each bullet to be that. Not aproximately that....
