GEMDANDY 0
Anyone have any suggestions on a REALLY HEAVY trigger guard for Saiga 12? I have seen one at CSS and R&R Targets.
DLT 1,646
The CSS one is nice. I've used it in several builds. Or you can always use the original one.
JDeko 792
Do you need to replace the guard when doing a conversion? And does the LRBHO button on 433s get in the way of any guards [or not get in the way of specific ones]?

Heavy like weight wise, or heavy like heavy duty? AKBuilder has a really nice trigger guard. Rivet or screw it in place.

JonWienke 131
Unless you intend to use your Saiga-12 as a hammer to pound circus tent stakes, the CSS one is fine. It wull handle any reasonable abuse, and most of the commonly encountered forms of unreasonable abuse.

No "need" to replace it just some do some do not, mine have all factory guards just have to do a bit of work. No idea on the hold open all of those are gone, just never put them back on. I just use a length of paracord if I must have that bolt open for range rules.
getitat 609
Hello I've used the rivet-on models from AK-Builder for my S-12 builds. Not only heavy-duty but factory original looking. -Guido in TX
