Mullet Man 2,114
Awesome! A silver b29 flew over my house (literally) on July 4th. It was just lumbering along. It made a pass a couple miles out, looped around and flew right over at about 1000-1500ft.

HB of CJ 1,263
Wow! The most expensive WW2 war effort of our great Nation. The bomb was second. Consider it today like going to Mars ... over and over.

HB of CJ 1,263
I wonder how $much$ it would it cost for a 45 minute ride? Or ... considering all things, how $little$?
G O B 3,516
When my oldest son was about 12, we were lucky enough to be at the Smithsonian's 'open house' day at the Suitland MD facility. This is where they restore the planes for the Air and Space museum. Everything from cloth wings to jets. We got to walk thru the fuselage, and sit in the cockpit of the ENOLA GAY!!!!!!
