On one of my two sbr pap's, I've got a pretty bad canted gas block that pretty much kills any chance of getting it to zero. Have any of you guys performed any surgery on these specific pistols? I'm ready to whack the sucker, but fear that the port on the barrel won't align with the block if I correct all the way to center.

Sorry DLT, I have one PAP SBR and the sights are fairly straight so the lack of response may be because many don't have the experience to answer the question. You say both the front and rear are off. Is it possible you can split the difference between the two to get to zero?

The only other option I would suggest is drill the cover for a picatinny rail or aim point mount and call it good. This is what I did, not because I had issues with the sight, but wanted a red dot on the cover. I have had no issues with return to zero. Maybe this might work for you as well?
