ChileRelleno 7,071
Escambia River Gun Club in Cantonment, FL will be hosting an RWVA Appleseed shoot this coming Sat/Sun - Dec 03/04.I would like to encourage anyone who likes to shoot, to come out and join us for two days of Marksmanship and the History of our Heritage. This will be my first AS event since stepping up and taking an Orange Hat as an Instructor in Training. And I look forward to paying it forward, to helping others to become better shooters, have fun and perhaps earn a Riflemans patch.I'll sweeten the invitation. The first S12.com member (registered before this thread) to show up and shoot all day Sat/Sun, I will supply their ammo. This will be your choice of either Federal Automatch or CCI Mini-Mag .22lr.You can register online or walk-on Sat morning and pay.More information:http://appleseedinfo.org/search-states-location.php?locationid=46&id_event=4324Register:https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pensacola-fl-appleseed-december-3-4-2016-tickets-19959066104 Edited December 1, 2016 by ChileRelleno
getitat 609
Hello I desperately want to take at least one of my sons to an Appleseed event for both of ours benefit. It seems like such a purely good thing, staffed by people with such good intentions. Breaking my #2 son away from his boys and their regiment of sports every weekend is the main problem..... -Guido in TX
ChileRelleno 7,071
If the grandsons are mature enough, take them all. If you lack mag-fed semi-auto .22s just contact the event coordinator and ask about Loaners. A lot of these guys/gals will have a few to several.
Rhodes1968 1,638
I used to work in the paper mill there from time to time, area is more Alabama than FL but you likely know that and it's a good thing. Been to a few AS and it was always a good time till the back started barking and I would have my scores drop, but meh that wasnt why I was there. May go to one more next year may not, depends on how things here work out. Good luck have fun be safe.
