csspecs 1,987
there is not a whole lot to the LRBHO setup.. If you want to get it back exactly the same, I'd count the rotations on the nut. Once you take it apart it is not so daunting.
saltydecimator 482
Gotcha. So as far as why its failing no good reasons? Could i mill off the side of the hammer so the hammer spring would ride farther over and not touch the lrbho lever?
csspecs 1,987
I doubt the spring is causing a lot of resistance. It is more likely that grit has worked into the pocket that the LRBHO stop sits in.. Or the hammer is a little tight on the lever pivot.. Or perhaps a combination of other factors. If it stopped locking back, but seems to activate with the action is cycled by hand, it is possible that your gas system or ports is plugged a little.
evlblkwpnz 3,418
Post a pic of the hammer face and the top of the piece that retains the BHO lever. Overhead view with the hammer set would be adequate.

evlblkwpnz 3,418
I see, it doesn't have a factory FCG. With a Tapco G2, the total width of the hammer axis should be 1". Sorry about the delay. Merry Christmas!

evlblkwpnz 3,418
Thats a damn good eyeball you got there evl! I'm not sure I was correct though. Looks like a factory FCG now, lol. Could have sworn it had a Tapco in it or there was some discussion about a Tapco in it.
