He's a brush/river rough terrain hunter. Attached to a Remington 700 .308. Standing, squatting, or kneeling. Said he likes the stability of locking the rifle and giving a more stable shot. I think the Brownell's Latigo Sling will do everything you might want from a leather sling without the need for the third mounting point required by the Ching or CW slings Cooper specified for a Scout rifle.
