My son has used for 3 seasons deer and boar hunting. Really likes it. Was out today and will be again tomorrow with it. He's a brush/river rough terrain hunter. Attached to a Remington 700 .308. Standing, squatting, or kneeling. Said he likes the stability of locking the rifle and giving a more stable shot. Might not be proper terms, yet stabilizes.

Got the point that is what I was looking to find out. 

 

 

I think the Brownell's Latigo Sling will do everything you might want from a leather sling without the need for the third mounting point required by the Ching or CW slings Cooper specified for a Scout rifle.

 

Since the rifle already has 3 sling mounts that is not an issue but I do like that sling from what I can see.
