scattergun10 125
If it's an impulse buy, resist the urge and pass. If it's a deal that's too good to pass up, then I might consider it. Something tells me you've already got at least one other Glock, and at least one chambered in .40. (am I right?) Personally, I'm holding out for a CZ P-10.
DLT 1,646
No...no glocks. Only other 40 is my CZ SP01 tac. The majority of my handguns are ruger SR9's. The price on this package is only six bills. That's the only reason I'm seriously looking.
forsaken352 235
Edit: I'd do it. Seems like it's worth it. Edited January 6, 2017 by forsaken352
patriot 7,197
She's your wife, not your owner. It's your money. Do what you want with it.
DLT 1,646
I think I'm going to go for it. Heck, the ammo alone is probably over $300. Not sure about the mags. And the handgun is about $550. So yeah, she's staying with me.
JoeAK 337
New Glock mags are about $30, I'd say it's a good deal.
WhiskeyMinion 300
My wife and I make a game out of it. Any time she has to go in the safes she's snooping to see if anything looks new. As long as the bills are paid and she gets spoiled every now and then she doesn't freak out too bad. Unless it looks really expensive haha
jerry52 893
Deals come and go but a wife can make or break you. Always buy guns with the little woman in the loop. If they resist there is a reason ,find it and solve it. Well good Luck on that.
DLT 1,646
Spoke with her about it. Showed her the numbers. Her response was very cool. As long as the bills are paid.
HB of CJ 1,263
I am now wondering if you should hear this. Guns come and go, they are just tools. Your wife may last for eternity. Just a thought.
Ronin38 2,117
I've owned many of my guns longer than many friends of mine were married. Due to actions by the women, btw.

Sdustin 578
The shiny shit thread comes to mind. Lol. I say unless she's a gun person she's not going to know one glock from the other. unless it's a different color. But to me 40 is a useless caliber, solution looking for a problem. I say if you want a centimetre get a 10mm
Ronin38 2,117
Instead of a .40 caliber, get a 40mm! Well... the wife might actually notice that one.

DLT 1,646
Bills are paid, and all is good. However, after much condideration, I'm passing this up. My reasons are simple: Over the past 7 to 8 years I've standardized both my ammo and handguns. This handgun and caliber are not on that list. Furthermore, although the money is not an issue, it's still $600 bucks. I'd rather apply that to paying off the new tires and suspension parts I just put on the truck.
evlblkwpnz 3,418
IMO, the beauty of a .40 cal Glock is that it can be easily converted to 9mm and back to .40. It is like having more than one gun in just one gun, a guide rod, barrel, and mag later. I carry a well worn G22 converted to 9mm.
