poolingmyignorance 2,191
Unbox and review. Did a brief video review of this unique and new pistol. Thought I'd share with ya'll. Forgot to mention in the video it uses SIG P320 holster. https://youtu.be/ejnl_EuHJyU

DLT 1,646
I've made a few vids for YouTube. My best advice is to make a list of bullet points you want to discuss prior to starting.
gunfun 3,931
Good review. I think I would greatly prefer that decocker style to the condition 1 style. I've made a few vids for YouTube. My best advice is to make a list of bullet points you want to discuss prior to starting. Then ruthlessly cut every second of pausing, introduction, repetition. <-- the hard & time consuming part for me. Youtube editor works okay. I've had issues with most of the PC based editors I have tried freezing and losing work.
DLT 1,646
Sorry for the pauses. That's really how I speak. Drives my wife and kids nuts sometimes.

At least you are considering what you are going to say next and letting the last thing you said sink in. Some people just ramble and ramble about nothing.

evlblkwpnz 3,418
I do it too for those reasons and I'm usually trying to figure out how I am to make them understand my thought pattern. It creates problems with certain people. They don't get it, think I am done over and over, interject, interrupt, start asking questions that I have already answered because they didn't get it or didn't listen, or they assume I am going in an obvious direction and make statements based on where they think it is going. At that point I realize I am pissing in a fan, withdraw, and let them remain ignorant on the subject or let them continue to hold an incomplete view of the subject. It has often led to "Why are you so quiet, you mad?". In my mind I think "Nope. You are just too ignorant to have a conversation with", but I never say it. I would have to explain it, they wouldn't get it... I have concluded that I am not intelligent enough to identify the people that I should not attempt a conversation with.
Rhodes1968 1,638
Fair job on the vid, nice pistol. I use youtube a LOT and have gotten where I can tell where a presenter has had public speaking training and where they have not. Yes all those guys in drama class in school, it finally paid off for them. The editing software problems are a major complaint of content creators across the board, right up there with demonetization (censorship) but that's for the heavy hitters. As long as the content is interesting and understandable we forgive a lot of sins over there. Don't watch a lot of gun vids any longer, being more interested in history than firearms atm with no projects going on, watching some other guy shoot is like watching paint dry. Unless it is a babe in a skimpy bikini... that I will watch. Edited March 24, 2017 by Rhodes1968
poolingmyignorance 2,191
OK, update on the pistol. It still has a hold over of 1"at 3 yards, 2"at 5 yards and 2.5" @ 10 yards. (Maybe this is acceptable to some) BUT the front and rear sight dovetail are completely proprietary. So you either accept what it is our don't buy it. Also, the grip bushings are staked a little too deep. Seems the starter thread on one of the grip screws was too deep and galled the screw. When I tried to remove the screw the head snapped off. They will fix it for free, but refuse to pay shipping. Because I used Safariland break free which MELTED the grips, and had I not used that, I wouldn't have had to remove the grips and the screw wouldn't have broke... not shit, I'm not kidding. They DID say they would either send more screws and grips for free, and I could fix myself. Edited March 31, 2017 by poolingmyignorance
