Call NRA-ILA 8003928683 and tell em to start supporting NFA deregulati

Recommended Posts

Specifically the "shush " act. Call 1-800-392-8683 option 3 to leave a msg, tell em to act their "pro gun" "stance" and get it ram rodded through before this whole worthless congress gets thrown out.

Joining American suppressed association wouldn't hurt either.

Silencer deregulation Is gonna happen I just want it to happen sooner rather than later, what about you!??!!???!

Confusing for me.  How many NFA TYPE petitions are there?  How many made the required number of signatures for White House submission?  I for one may be getting confusing and conflicting information.   What is the difference between an "ACT" and a "LAW"?  Big?  Little?

Are there executive orders that Trump could just sign that would be legal with force of law?   What could HE do?  What would require congressional law makers to create, pass and have Trump sign into law?  What would just require the Attorney Generals attention and approval?

I have been hitting the various NFA sites, but they also seem not to have the straight scoop?  Also all the NFA petitions that were floating around have already been signed by me.  Now wondering at the next step in this twisted confusing chain of events.  Thus plus our political reality.

Respectfully.  All Oregon State, US Code Laws And NFA Rules Apply.

The following was shamelessly stolen from quora.com...

In most countries around the world:—

A law is the generic term for any legal rule or regulation enforced by the government to regulate behaviour or activities in that society. The term can additionally mean a system of rules that are created and enforced by the government for the same purpose.

A Bill is proposed law — drafted by the government or by the lawmakers, to be debated and voted upon in the legislature, and if passed by that legislature, to be enacted into force by a certain constitutional procedure.

An Act is enacted legislation — the written law (the statute). The term ‘Act’ most usually means primary legislation — the principal statute enacted according to the lawmaking procedure by the legislature. Very often the Act will have secondary or delegated legislation (usually called “regulations” or “rules”) to finetune the operation of the Act.

I want the HPA to pass, but I am not looking forward to the endless inquiries about "Do you have any silencers for sale?" long after all available distributor level stock have been depleted and has went off the GunBroker for insane prices, which enough people will pay. The availability of newly manufactured cans will look like a trickle in comparison to the demand. Think 2013 panic for silencers instead of AR parts. A $500 can will likely be $2000, and so on. This is the reality of the situation, manufacturers can barely keep up with 8000 SOTs currently. Cans are already being sold and formed that have not even been manufactured yet. If HPA passes, the possible venues for selling these things could open up to about 80,000 or so FFLs, so try to wrap your head around how long it will take manufacturing to come close to meeting the demand of shops just wanting some inventory to sell. How many people who have refused to go NFA will be scrambling to buy a silencer if that passes? It may be a huge contributor to a long term deficit of available inventory. Of course, many manufacturers will be jumping on the bandwagon to offer their own cans and that will ease the pain a bit, but will not fill the massive void.

That is no reason to not pass it. It may take a while but prices and inventory will eventually stabilize. You would also see the rise of easy to manufacture cheap disposable cans that last for ~500 rounds before you pitch it and buy a new one, similar to Europe. Not to mention Maglite/freeze plugs and oil filter adapters.
