Quite a few VERY successful mag fed guns in open division.

 

X rails put WAY too much weight out at the end of the gun, many woman shooters lack upper body strength to run them.

And once the x is empty  you are back to conventional loading.

On a giant 50rnd shotgun stage xrails dont have the advantage over mag fed guns

What is the angled plate in front of the trigger?  It looks like an off-road skid plate

It's a chute that guides in their speed loader sticks.

 

They can top these off pretty fast, but it is really easy to goof up the use of the speed loader.
