Get your license and do it legally on properly allocated frequencies. Patriot.. you are correct 100 watts is breaking the law and i do not encourage that kind of operation, my Bad. My operation runs QRP that is more of a challenge to make contacts with.

Great topic..When the conditions are right a 100 watt radio on 27.385 lsb can talk coast to coast with a good verticle antenna. Its all about the antenna and mother nature! 2SD507 have fun.
