  1. It seems like the triangle stock wont work with MD20rd drums, maybe the Warsaw would but doubt it. Guess I can always keep it ready to rock with some 12rd mags and pull the drums out with it open if sh*t get heavy. I imagine the M4 would work with the drums if completely collapsed. Does anyone know about this and could give me some advise before I order?
  2. Looks good! I have been looking for folder options and since I cant afford to have a gunsmith do the work on a K-var folder this seems like the next best option for me. I just got my first s12 for xmas and will be ordering a left folder soon. Hope the order doesnt take forever to get filled. I may be doing this to my s20 if it is all it seems to be. My 7.62 will stay solid k-var.
  3. So I talked to Dinzag, and he said it should not be any problem. He reminded me that the handguard retainer locking lever is much deeper and in a high pressure area and what I did is no problem at all. I still am not happy about it anyways but now I know I am not going to Elmer Fudd it up next time I go shoot.
  4. I finally got into cutting off my barrel shroud to fit on dinzags 1" MB, despite having everything I don't have a threaded barrel. I had to use a drimmel to get it back to the FSB and I apparently dug in a little to deep on one side, extremely upsetting. At least 1/2 of the barrel was untouched but the other side cut into the barrel, deeper than threads would be. I wouldn't worry about a little cut but it just deep enough to concern me. Is there anything I can do to fill in the cut a little like putting a few tack welds on it? Is there a safe amount of barrel or what do you think my next move
  5. Well it sounds like the internal receiver is an ok option, just get the one with side holes and use loc-tite. I have only been welding for about a year so I guess if I am not happy with it, I could always go back and weld on the piece after I am totally confidant in my welding skills. I think I could do it now but I have also turned other welding projects into some sort of melted abstract art.
  6. I am about to do the PG conversion to my Saiga 7.62x39. A buddy of mine who has done several of them told me that if I want a side folding skeleton stock that I would have to weld on the back plate to do so. I am an aspiring welder but I still am unsure if chopping and welding on my new saiga is what I want to do. I see there are internal receiver blocks from CSS and tac47 that seem like I could get around the plate and would slide in like the original stock minus some tang removal. Is there some reason this would be a bad choice? The only down side I can see is that it might extend the l
