  1. Cutting, grinding, punching and swearing are all done with now. I went a little deep on cutting the shroud off the end of the barrel, but cutting the threads should cover it up nicely. After all is said and done, I'm going to take it to a local shop and have it refinished. What color should I get? I'm thinking either hot pink, or H&K black.
  2. First, I know which pins to drill. Those are already out. Yup it was the retaining wire. Couldn't see it with the main spring in the way. It came right out and a couple of taps with the hammer and punch I was golden. Thanks for the assist guys. New pistol grip and tapco trigger group should be here tomorrow along with us made gas piston. Conversion should be done by the end of the week.
  3. Hey guys, First time posting a question here. I've been reading up on Saiga conversions for a little over a year now, and I just recently got the comfort level to attempt it myself. However, I've got one stubborn pin that will not come out to let me replace the trigger group. It's the pin holding the hammer in. Anyone got any tricks to help with getting this thing out?
