  1. the rear sight block is the easier half of it, some trimming and welding; the front site is more difficult, for me at least. what I've been considering is pick up a dinzag style raised front site and a bore sighter then line the rsb up with it.
  2. You are totally correct, it is a State law you can not have a collapsible stock in CA, and as stated you will have to pin the stock, the pins can not be removable..... there is no such CA state law.
  3. They don't have to know where a firearm is from to tell you if it's legal or not. "Detachable mag"? Check. "Pistol grip?" Nope. "Flash hider?" Nope. and so on. NO?? So you can not own a AR15/10/FAL/PRT-91 or any other PG weapons? This is the first time I have heard of this. 8. thinks thats bad, theres guy in CA that trys to sell them as rebuild kits for $350!
  9. In CA we can legally have the full mags/ammo with the weapon just not in the magwell, and not many states have it worse than us. Of course many LEO make the law as they go. best bet is to find the penal code and have it with you.
  10. mine was loose right out of the box. I don't like it, but left it alone.
  11. here a pic from a few months back. i've been posted on the couch since january with a torn mcl in my knee.
  12. Are you talking about the one that holds in the Stock Tang? yes, rear trunnion.
  13. My linkhttp://deviating.net/firearms/packing/ a hard case, with your own lock that only you have the key/combo to. a great way to be able to truly lock your luggage, fly with firearms. "- Federal Law - If you are traveling by air with firearms, federal law allows (in fact, it compels) you to use hard-sided luggage and secure said bag with a non-TSA approved lock. Naturally, they must be unloaded (although transportation of ammo is also possible, if one follows airline policies) and declared. Once the check-in process has been completed and the bag has been locked, no one i
