  1. No pissing contest on my end, just stating my preference on home defense ammo.
  2. Personally, I'd ditch everything from the pistol grip forward. Trim some of the fat. I do like the sling and the carry method. I also like that triggers will be offered in different widths. I would like to see better protection on the cover, seeing as how your face would be right on top of it, maybe continue the rear/side cover up and over a little more.
  3. My s12 is loaded with 3 inch mag #4 at all times, my s&w 99 is cocked full of hollow points, and just to be safe my thompson is sleeping right next to me. I was just throwing ideas out there, besides, how many people here have actually been in that situation, armed intruder enters your premises and is set on violence. Did you all dirty harry them?
  4. Those rounds look pretty crazy, if you're having trouble deciding on a good home defense load go to ammunitiontogo.com they have a large amount of different load types with a good explanation for each one. If you're worried about cracking off rounds in the neighborhood or collateral damage, consider non lethal rounds. Before you all laugh, watch the jackass episode where Johnny Knoxville takes the 12 ga. non lethal round, its no joke. Besides, I think it'd be kinda funny to send some burglar to the clink with a few monster bruises. The cops would laugh and you wouldn't have to clean up any blo
  5. I'm glad schwarzeneger is done being governor. I lost all respect for him. Go back to being the terminator.

  6. Yeah! Caught the handguard on fire, fawking awesome. Theres a new use for the ove glove.
  7. That's what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, there are too many people that ruin it for the rest of us. The west coast could never work with gun laws the way they are in the mid west. Which sucks because the majority of people that have guns here are criminals, and our laws make people criminals who sometimes don't even know. I watched a dude at the range last outing blowing off 20+ round mags with his AR. I told him to watch out because the police will train there from time to time, usually in plain clothes. He had no clue about our magazine laws, and acted like his birthday was revoked when
  8. It would be way cheaper and easier to have your barrel coated with ceramic type exhaust/heat coating. Theres a powder coat shop I use that coats the headers, intakes, floor panels, and heat shields that I've built. They actually have a black ceramic coating that I think would look insane on a gun. But, I know what it's like to have a mind that wanders, water cool that shit and post some pics. You can do it. That s 12 would be able to shoot 3 inch magnum all day.
  9. That bullshevic is standard practice in Cali. My dad lives in Minnesota, and on my last visit I was almost shocked to see what he could walk out of a store with. We went to the local gander mountain and they had a huge open table sale going on with hundreds of guns(all types). Even people from other states are allowed to buy guns in Minnesota. Its way different here. I didn't know Pennsylvania pulled that kind of shit. Did our friend Barry sign you guys up for that, or is it a state thing?
  10. Cnc is the shit. I love watching videos like that, almost hypnotic. The best part is watching the machine do automatic tool changes.
  11. I dig it, but I'm a wood furniture guy. Rock that shit and post some pics.
  12. That range shit is insane. I live in Cali and the range I go to(P2k) doesn't even have half the rules you mentioned. Do they actually count how many rounds someone is shooting? 25 rds is nothing in a saiga 12, I blow through about 200 every time I go to the local range, not including the other guns I bring. No ak's on the rifle range and no rapid fire? Do they have a rainbow pride flag flyin high? Whats happenin to our country? I'd expect shit like that from our backwards, broke ass, tree huggin state, but Florida? WOW
  13. I once read a funny ass post on another site that said, "Internet fighting is a lot like the special olympics, even if you win you're still retarded." PS Not trying to start the shit storm
  14. Hey ozone, if you have a vice then you could most definitely polish the parts that need it the most. Clamp that drill of yours in the vice and zip tie the trigger on. Polishing and grinding bits are very inexpensive and anything you need to do the job can be acquired with 3/32 or 1/4 inch shanks on them (the part you chuck in the drill). Small files, emery boards, and sandpaper will also do the trick. When I was 18 I barely had shit for tools but I had a shit load of time and elbow grease. Break that saiga in first, then disassemble and look at the wear marks/contact areas. Those are the most
  15. The most interference I ran into on my s12 was between the bottom of the bolt and the hammer. Just take your time and remove material slowly, reassemble and check the feel. When you are satisfied with the action then begin the polishing procedure. Definitely check the post above with the pics of the bolt cobra did, compare the stock one with those and you'll see the diference.
