  1. I was playing around with the drum and decided to do some redneck engineering so I put two small strips of duct tape on the front tab of the drum and then put it in the mag. well it locked up tight with vary little play, After the sheriff's dept left I loaded the drum up and tried it out it worked like a charm. Note: The SO was here from the complaint's from me shooting yesterday, I still can but have to be a little more discrete about it, due to neighbors a Half a mile away pissing and moaning, guess I have been doing to much tannerite here.
  2. Yes there is a small nick on the tab
  3. Has anyone had problems with the promag drum,? Like firing the first round and the drum falls out ? This happens to me with all types of ammo, It worked great when I first got it and I haven't used it since I installed the extended mag. releasre from CSS, all my other mags work with the new release except the promag 12 rounder even my MD 20 rounder. Is it the release or the drum? I am thinking about putting the old release back in just to see if it is the release and not the drum, Any other ideas are welcome.
  4. I never tried the 4 rnd. mag. WOW!! I was wondering about using a file on the stub that you have circled a few strokes at a time to see if that would make a difference, you might get enough off so the mag will work, I might try that latter myself, I can always buy another mag release if I screw this one up.
  5. Here is a Pic of mine
  6. Now all I need to do is figure out how to put a bolt hold open on my S410 (older Model)
  7. I order a extended mag. release for my AK Mac.90 but it would not fit SOOOO I was looking at my S410 ( older Mod.) and tried it on for shits and giggles and it fit, I tried my 10 rnd mag. and the drum and they both locked up tight and droped the mag when pushed. I thought I was going to have to send it back but Not now. I will test fire it tomorrow when it is warmer. I was trying to post pictures but I am having problems posting them. I did it PICTURES
  8. Here is what i tried, I put some silver 3 in. in my 10 round mag. and the last two rounds were fed. 3in. stuck it in the 410 and they fired fine, I am going to try staggering 5 and 5 in the drum with the last 5 federals #5's and see how that works this weekend when it is warmer. I hate the fricken cold. Well that didn't work, Back to the drawing board!!!
  9. I was thinking, ( I know you guys could smell wood burning) But Is there some way you could put a slite taper on the case so it wont hit the top of the chamber when chambering, maybe the use of an old rifle die, because that is where my problem lies when trying to chamber a round
  10. I have the older model S-410 and I have some silver bear 3' slugs, I could not get them to work in my 410 using the promag 30 round drum, They would hang up when trying to chamber them, they worked half ass in the 10 round mag. I have not tried the org. 4 round mags yet. Is there anything i can do to correct this problem?? other 3" will work just the silver bear that is causing me problems. I kown my 410 is labaled 3 inch only can i shoot the 2 3/4 in golden bear out of it?
  11. I got my promag 30 rd. drum yesterday for the S410 And the darn thing worked like a top right out of the Box. I ran 20 Rd's. without a problem. I have an older S410 I bought back in the early 90's and it doesn't have a bolt hold open device on it so either I put one on or buy a new model S410.
  12. Yup, the one you posted is the one I watched.
  13. I just order a 30 rnd. drum from CSS also I watched a short video on the drum on the 410 site check it out. I had to get one before they all disappeared. Now to buy a case of 3 inch
  14. Has anyone here tried the promag 30 rnd drum for the 410, I have an older model saiga 410 and i am thinking about getting one but would like to here some reviews on the drum first. Thanks
