  1. Thanks for the post/info on the Tapco nut. Just finished a Romy G build and am having the problem with the loose grip; the Tapco nut is most likely the problem. I used the Tapco nut with the Hogue grip on my S-12 conversion and had no problem.
  2. Congrats Mike. I am imagining the quad stack on my Yugo M72 and it looks real nice.
  3. I checked with K-Var back in January about this subject specifically asking about extractors, bolts, bolt carriers amd firing pins among other parts. I received a reply from them stating that they should start carying parts for the Saiga 12 around July of this year. I hope so.
  4. I load Win AA hulls. I use the gray hulls for #1 buckshot and red hulls for 00 in order to tell them apart. I haven't had any problems.
  5. I used a Uncle Mikes attachment listed for the Mossberg 500 buttstock. To hold it in place I used the nut show in the picutre (not sure what the proper name for it is). It seems to work fine.

  9. Check the www site of the manfacutre of the powder that you have (msrdiver provided an example for Hodgdon in his post above). You will find recipes for quite a few loads using some of the components that you have. Wads are the cheapest component to buy (at less than 2 cents each) so you probably want to use a recipe that includes the hull, primer and powder that you currently have and purchase the appropriate wad for that recipe. Bulk once-fired hulls can be found on GunBroker at a very reasonable price.
  10. Favorite load so far is the No. 1 Buckshot recipie from the Lyman Shotshell Reloading Handbook (5th Edition) using the 2-3/4 Winchester AA/HS hull. Unable to post the load recipie due to copyright restrictions, but I have also used their 00 Buckshot load and like it. Both of these recipies do not require buffer, cards, wraps or anything special outside of normal components. Highly recommend the recipies from the Lyman 5th Edition.
  11. Successful order of 3 drums to Jax Florida last night
  12. And I was saving my money for the gun show next weekend...oh well, there will be other gun shows. Just can't pass this deal up. .
