  1. There are no fully successful "no mod" SBS builds. All SBS builds are "know mod". If you have a tax stamp in hand, be sure you know exactly what you are doing before you cut that barrel or begin the process. Honestly - If you really want an SBS that rocks, let a licensed expert do it. Call Tony, or Red Jacket, or yours truly. A truly successful SBS build requires more than a general idea, and inspiration. Proceed with extreme caution. I am thinking I would like to get a S12 and do a 12" SBS and I am in the thinking stage of this; I dont even have a S12 yet and I have read the words of Mr Tony Rumore in the tech sectoin in regard to moving the gas system back 2" on a 12" gun and it would seem that he knows his stuff. With that said I also have read about " NO MOD" 12" builds and opening up gas ports and using tight chokes.
