  1. I wanted to thank you for putting together this letter. I have used it to contact Peter DeFazio my Rep. in OR. It will be interesting to see how he responds
  2. Chaseface, knock your self out. My wife laughed her ass off when I rewrapped the stock for the 5th time. The one thing that I did different from others that I saw on this site is to drill the but stock and tie the ends behind the pad. I think it gives a more finished look.
  3. Finally had a day that the wife wasn't in the hospital and it was not raining so off to the woods I went. After opening my ports to .093 and getting the TAC 47 Auto plug tuned up it worked flawlessly with Federal bulk pack. Thanks to Paully for the bolt polishing and CSS for all the great parts and service and all the fine members that have provided insight and information into the S-12. My Primary Arms micro green dot sight died but the staff at Primary Arms is great to work with & a new sight is on the way today for new abuse and torture testing. Only a few more hundred dollars and I wil
  4. Don't know yet but it would make sense.
  5. Well it seems that the Oregon House has passed a resolution to accept other states concealed hand gun licenses. If this gets through the state senate and gets signed by the governor we should be in as good shape as a Utah license. We can always hope.
  6. The s12 that is in question here is a 3 port @ .071 it was able to shoot low base loads with about 98 percent good. Now it has some problems. The next logical step is to open the ports to .093 or 3/32 and let her rip. I don't want to think about way settin the plug is in so I went with the TAC/47 to serve my needs.
  7. Well I just got back from shooting in the woods. I guess it's back to the drawing board, even with the polishing job and the auto plug all the way in I was getting FTE 3 out of 5 rounds of Fed low base value pack. I guess that I will open my ports next. I hoped that I got one that didn't need it. Lol
  8. Well I bought the TAC-47 plug and my bolt polished by Pauly it's just about where I want it. I hope to go out tomorrow and try it out. My wife just got out of the hospital so my s12 has been taking second seat for a while. I will let you know how it goes.
  9. Ok I finally figured out how to post pictures of my project. Now I can play show and tell. I just got my bolt and carrier back from Pauly yesterday and what a job he did. I would be willing to say that it is worth twice the price he is charging for his work. The action slides like glass and the triger pull is as smooth as a babys but. Here it is so far, I have a quad rail comming and have wrapped the stock with paracord. Sorry for the out of focus picture I wiggled.
  10. I think I will wait and see how it shoots when I get my bolt back from Pauly. The way it looks if I need to change the plug I think I will go with MD's V plug instead of the TAC 47after reading all of the diffrent reports it seems like to much truoble.
  11. Anybody using the auto adjusting gas plug that is being sold by CSS. The idea of not having to remember to change the plug every time I change loads would be great, (the memory is one of the first things to go).
  12. I got started on my conversion this weekend. Boy when the CSS video said that the BHO spring was a pain they were not kidding. I got it all back together and forgot to install the safety first, oh well good practice at taking it apart again. Now I found a MEC 600 jr reloader in the paper for $60. Oh well its only money. I had to buy the wife some new toys yesterday to make up for my toy spending.
