What does it weigh with a full mag ?

HEY guys just wondered how you fellas go about cutting the grove in the top of the barrel when installing a AK style lower h/g RETAINER on a IZ-240 ? I bought 2 lower retainers and I picked the best fitting one "to use" and the second one to act as a guide for cutting the grove in the barrel. can i just get a correct size drill bit and run it thru the h/g retainer with the locking devise removed ? how do you fellas to this in a precise manner ? a small hand file will work also but its not a right on thing. all help is appreciated.... regards bob in tn.

anybody out there put a akm fsb on there saiga conversion ? i,am considering this for my rifle as i dont want the threaded fsb like ak 74's use, I want to thread my barrel instead. bob

its yours so make it to suite you and the easyer it is to run the better but IMO keep it as light and simple as possible. the only drawback to the ak platform is its heavy. bob
