Thanks everyone those are all good ideas. You can even get extra Saiga 12 factory stocks at Centerfire Systems if you need them.

I dont wish to cut the tangs off my Saiga 12 but I'd like to get one of the KPUPs where are people getting the extended Buttstock Caps?

Finnaly I got it done.. Here are the results....

I was able to get the spring off the old release button. Unfortunatly I cannot compress the 308 sping enough to get the retaining nut back on the new release button? Any tricks to this?

I was told it was a Tapco when I bought it but, I reasearched it, and you are correct it's a K-VAR Poly Stock.

I have been lurking for quite some time but recently acquired a Saiga .308 21" so I thought I should join in the fun. Purchased Saiga .308 21.8" barrel as in PIC 1 with Tapco Buttstock, RAM trigger guard, and Dinzag Arsenal 2-stage trigger. Latest Mods in PIC 2 - ATI Tractical Finger Molded Grip, CSS Bottom Trirail with lightening cuts, Magpul AFG, SGM 20 RD Mag, UTG Fast Disconnect Side Mount, SightMark Ultrashot QD Optics. Next phase will be to replace the UTG side mount with A TWS Dogleg receiver cover scope rail, move the FSB back and thread for Muzzle Break and investigate other Buttst
