I am in would love a professional conversion. For the Independence Day my daughter and I are going to the NW Louisiana War Veterans Home to hang out with the men and woman who have defended our country in the previous generations. After that we will be attending a concert on the base with members of my unit and finally home for some BBQ and fireworks. Our holiday will finish up by taking my daughter out to the firing range on Thursday so she can try out her new 10/22.

Yea give it a try I noticed in my post I said to try a heavier bolt I meant a heavier buffer...to many beers, but the AR-Restor should help you with the brass so that you can reload.

A heavier tube spring will help but wont be as noticable as a new buffer.The best way to take down some recoil and to retard themotion of the gas system would be to install a heavier bolt. So far the best I have found is the AR-Restor, this is actually a hydraulic buffer. This can also help your situation with your cassing's contacting the defflector so violently.
