I have never bought or saw a fire arm that didnt have "customize it for me" written all over it. It's a true shooters instinct and perogative. just like the S12 i have. I bought everything i need for a nice conversion (Destroyer grey ATI 6 set - Scorp grips blah blah) but this time my instinct said wait a bit...That was 4 months ago. Am really glad i didnt start up the grinder for the forward FCG, but all the 10 round clips if they go 7 or if they claim they "Look" militaristic will have to sit until this crap blows over in 10 years or so. But to be honest the sporterized s12 does not slow

Do you think the new Assault Weapon Ban will pass
BarrettBreath replied to Spetnaz Soldier's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
Good gawd people do they really think some homicidal MF is going to do less damage if They want to do some shyt? NO NO NO! Most housholds now a days Have enough junk in them to make SOME KIND OF IED! They will make a dozen or so bombs and run into schools and lob a half dozen in class rooms and run. Mabe stop off at the Hospital since it was so easy at school and toss a few in the ER. As they head home the theatre is Packed full of peeps watching ZERO DARK THIRTY and after all they got a bomb or two left... Then its time to go home and then what? Taking the current method of mass destruct -

As far as the bullet guide goes greg from css said: The 308's do not require a bullet guide. Also I used the CONVERSION KIT #2 all Saiga 223, 7.62, 308, 5.45 Rifles and 410 & 20 Gauge Shotguns SKU: R-KIT#2-6PC-T6 on my IZ137 in 308 with minimal adjustments to move the fcg forward (The RE_CONVERSION). Thats the converted part, putting it back the way the factory designed it before US Imports got a hold of it. That is why you find all the holes and punched metal hidden above the second plate they weld on the trigger with. The holes under that welded on plate will fit

Is Cobra's custom here in NC?
-
Thankx Steve that is exactly what i will do since i been thinking on it but you seem to have nailed it. BTW did you cut off the original charging handle?
-
Ok so i received my RCS from Dublin and it fit in perfectly. Great looking-seems very well built, yet light and appears like it came factory from saiga. This system is non complex so it has very little chance of failure once installed and running IMHO. It seems the bore was within 4 thousands of the piston diameter of my model ( IZ 137 in .308) , and is just to tight to pull the charging handle back and the stock charging handle needs He-man to pull it. Also at mid point of the bore sits a narrowing "ramp" that needs smoothing be caused when operating the piston by hand it hits it

Noted and many thanks

Hello all Does any one who has the RCS or has a friend that owns one have a opinion for us on it? I thought of having the charging handle moved to the left but this does that and more for $ 189 which is shockingly cheap, and that is my concern. Thanx in advance for any input. http://www.dublinaksystems.com/

The gas tube is not a countable 922r part. The only one worth considering is the TWS. I have heard some have had issues with the S308 specific parts. I got one before they made those and simply put a buffer in. Nice thanx Zambidis

I contacted CNC Warrior and whined about the lack of Saiga .308 mods and parts. The owner said he's going to make new muzzle brakes, pins, muzzle caps for M17x1 threads although it is not a demanding size as well as a host of other parts! Unbelievable person to do that. Give him 2-3 weeks for some smaller items and 6-7 weeks for the muzzle brakes and hiders. I asked which muzzle devices was he thinking of and they asked me what do i want?!? Hats off to them. ill list some we talked about: AK Knight brake VZ58 Muzzle brake Type 74 brake Derita demon Flash hider

Hey Saiga 308 people. I am starting my 308 build and am open to all suggestions and advice. Here is a pic of it tore down to barrel and receiver. I already removed the fire control group and moved it forward then dry fitted the G2 FCG. (CSS) Replaced the main spring with a JT Main Power spring. (CSS) Replaced the retaining spring with a retaining plate. (CSS) Now check this. I contacted CNC Warrior and whined about the lack of Saiga .308 mods and parts. The owner said he's going to make new muzzle brakes, pins, muzzle caps for M17x1 threads as well as a host of other

Enough is ENOUGH

Personally i wont put up with having to hide my guns. I have some property in the country about a 1/2 mile from a cop who lives at the bottom of my mountain. He is very cool about it when i tell him im going to be shooting up there. I like the way things are, and when a very right wing senator asks for help fighting for my right to keep my life style i could not in good conscience ignore him. The NRA is a very good option to help fight gun grabbers, and i grew up with Ted Nuggent, but c'mon who is going to get more done in Washington? Rand Paul and all the new senators were voted in t
