This is great but this 5 round to 8 round comparison photo is really confusing to me. See image below... It's obvious in the picture that it takes 4 rounds just to get down to the Double-Stacked portion of the magazine. With that said how are you squeezing 8 in there utilizing the same space? Correct me if I'm wrong but wont the double stack have the disadvantage that the majority of the spring will not be allowed to be stored in the follower since the majority of the spring will have to be the width of the doublestack portion of the magazine to prevent buckling while its compressed? Anyone have or know of any bench notes that indicate the max load that should be pushed against the bolt from a loaded magazine? Getting a custom spring made but I don't want the force to exceed whatever the specs are. Thanks guys.

Yeah that's why I was hoping someone on here was in the know. Every time you have something like this made there is always a tooling/design charge that's in the thousands even for something this small. Well the offer still stands. If you know, 100 bucks for you!

Yeah those are the ones. Unfortunately It looks like AGP has them made through another company which they resell and use on there own magazines. I am looking for the shop that actually makes them so I may purchase them in bulk. The clips are actually a spring so they have to be heat treated and coated which pretty much makes them an out source part for most.

I have always wanted to make my Saiga as compact as possible. Having seen this, its making me second guess my whole design. LOVE IT. Really, this looks so nice. If I needed a sporting rifle I would probably copy your design to the T!
