  1. Dinzag--I love what you did with the dragunov stock......Was/is that a Romak? It looks alot like the RPK club style butt stock. I may need to buy one of those buttstocks (they're cheap) and do something similar. Have you tried to make a tabouk butt stock?
  2. Tritium--Your Tantal looks great. I have a Tantal parts kit; However, it is missing the safety lever. Any Idea where I might be able to find one? Thanks in advance.
  3. Your experience with the ability and accuracy of the Saiga 223 is very impressive......I should have considered it when I ordered my brand new $800.00 Rock River Arms AR-15 (dealer price). Dont misunderstand me, I love my Rock River; However, I love the quality of my Saiga 12 and it sounds like the Saiga 223 is right on par. Thanks for the info.
  4. This ak was built from a parts kit obtained from Nodak arms and we used a Nodak Spud NDS-65 receiver. My friend Robert (ak-addict) and I built it. He did the riveting and head spacing and I did the Durabake/finish work. I think it came out pretty good......Considering Duracoat next time (any experienced comments regarding Duracoat are appreciated). Thanks to Harlan (Nodakspud) for a quality receiver and Robert for excellant craftsmanship. Another ak variant that we have built is the VZ-58 which we Durabaked today and will post pictures in the near future.

  6. Hungarian AMD-65 that was recently built from a kit and durabaked. My friend Robert (ak-addict) did the riveting/head space work and I did the finish work. This ak is built using a Nodak spud NDS-65 receiver and I purchased the kit from Nodakarms. Thanks again Robert....Another fantastic job with quality craftsmanship.
  7. Power Plant Operator (boilers etc.) at Cigar factory that makes around 10 million cigars a day.....Damn, thats a lot of smoke (lol). I am also a single father of twin 8 year old daughters. Have a fetish for customizing guns and actually trying to figure out how to build the vz 58.
  8. Check out Arms of America. I got my Saiga 12 from them and they were very easy to deal with.
  9. I will stick with the AGP 10 rounder.
  10. I received the two AGP 10 round mags today. Thanks for having them available and for the concise way that you do business. I wont hesitate to consider you guys for future accessory and firearm purchases. Word of mouth is powerful and I will pass this along to my fellow gun owners/collectors at work. Now I need to plan another range day so I can use the mag.

check out copesdist.com or davids collectibles for the Russian scope mounts.....Both places have them for $39.99 and they are brand new.
  12. Tapco sent me a petition to sign against hr 1022. Here it is if anyone is interested. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/...?ltl=1173728881

    Range Day

Greatmoose--Thanks for the compliment. You are correct about LEO and being safe. I hope to replace the gas piston and install a g2 trigger group. Do you know if these parts are available and at a reasonable price. If I do these conversions in addition to the flash hider I can subtract 5 import parts and should be within the limits. I think . Advice is appreciated. Also, I will be posting a Cetme in the future that is a ptr 91 clone with green furniture and collapsible buttstock.
  14. Although I am a newbie, I am also a Saiga 12 owner and agree with what "Beerslurpy" is saying. I believe that what he is asking for is reasonable. Dont get me wrong, I do believe in a capitalist society where people have an opportunity to make money from innovative ideas and hard work. The main questions is this. What would be the harm in probing the ATF on there stance with 20 round drums, as well as, the potential that they might reclassify the saiga-12 if 20 round drums were available and in use? If they dont have a problem with it, then you have an opportunity to make a tidy profit fr
