i figured it out. i took the gas tube selector off and holy shite, there was a quarter inch of crap compressed into a wad the shape of the piston, cleaned it out and unpluged the ports and bing!! that puppy was gobbling up slug, birdshot and buck like a champ , my shoulder is black and blue and i saved the day. i love these guns, s12 for life

my friend just got a 2000 model s12 and the carrier wont go all the way forward?, all of the other ,6, s12 work fine and look identical inside, i swapped my bolt and carrier wich works perfect in his and it still wont work any one have this happen? it stops about a quarter inch from closing, tried buck and slug, and changed the gas setting to magnum, help would be fantastic!!!!! thanks
