I train/compete muay thai, and brazillian jiujitsu. Shooting and music. That are my life besides work. basicallly i choke people and kick them in the face
  1. ive been lookin at muzzle breaks, only issue being my non threaded barrel. just curious, i've never heard of the mercury insert of the buttstock? i'm guessing it uses a liquid (being a metal having more mass) to absorb some of the force?
  2. hey everyone im looking at "recol buffers" at http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/index.php?...tall_ak_buffers he says he has them to fit the 762 saiga. it sounds like a sound idea. has aanyone else installed one. lastly, do you think this would count as a us part for compliance?
  3. Hey everyone, I got my 2 30rd mastermolder mags from cdnn. I wanna say, if you have made NO modifications to your rifle, buy these magazines. The material feels strong, but prett malleable, and in about 5 minutes per mag (no joke) i thinned out the clip on the forward edge of the mag to allow it to fit into my stock saiga. The mags feed pretty much perfectly. I've gone throuhg both about 5 or 6 times by hand with the action, and everything feeds fine. I don't know if the was an accident or not... but Id say (for the price of 12.99 + 5 minutes with a pocket knife or dremel) this is the best dea
  4. thanks alot man im going to buy one and post how it works. i have a newer (06) saiga rifle.
  5. ultimak.com check the 'more information'. looking at the way it fits on the reciever, its still not gonna fit unless you do move the trigger group forward.
  6. i had the same prb. im gonna post once i take it back. same ammo subsequently as well
  7. mine was pretty tight at first. just hold that button and use the the flathead lookin deal in your little supository lookin toolkit. itll come off. after a while youll be amazed at how simple it is. its just kinda tight against the metal the stock bolts onto
  8. as soon as my gf gets off i'll upload a picture of it on her camera phone. and yeah, the firing pin is against the round, BUT the action isnt closed.... it looks like if pull the trigger most of the gas/whatever from the round would shoot out that opening in the reciever cover
  9. okay i took it apart and foudn the problem. i noticed it before but now that i see how the rifle works i understand the problem. When taken apart, the part on the bolt that rotates and contains the firing pin NORMALLY rotates into place fine. for SOME reason when a bullet is in chamber (there isnt enoguh clearance?) , it doesnt rotate and allow the rest of the action to close completely. it looks to me honestly as if the bullet wont fit in the chamber (id say maybe the rim extens 2 or 3mm past flush with the opening, and possibly that is the problem? i avent seen what it looks like on
  10. i cant tell you how much i apreciate the fast response. heres the deal. ive watched all those videos, and after posting...i new id have to have more informatino. after about 10 minuets with a screw driver i got that cover off. im a prety strong guy....but it feels like the tolerance between the housing that the stock screws onto and the recieve cover is too tight? if i get a flathead screwdrive and press the reciever release button, i can PRY it off...but i DO mean pry. toget it back i literally have to smack it down while pressing the button. pressing QUITE firmly will not slide it into place
  11. i just finally recieved my saiga 7.62 from onpointsupply.com. i loved it , and dont get me wrong..but i took it to the range today to fire it for the first time. first 4 or 5 rounds were okay. then it stopped firing. looking at the ammo, (some russian brand ina cardboard box i got from a gunshow) the firing pin didnt even touch them. i changed the ammo and slammed the action forward when loading a fresh mag. this made it fire...okay. but after about 6 or 7 rounds it would stop firing. the slide does NOT come back every time to eject the shells and load a new round. it seems as if the bolt doe
  12. how would one go about mounting that on a non converted 7.62
