  1. Blast from the past. Wonder how that happened.
  2. Was that a FLAT, RIVET or Round bullet guide?
  3. There is a Saiga on this link for sale with dimples, if it isn't to late http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=83927
  4. Could you give me a parts list on that? I want to do mine the same way?
  5. Thanks for the reply. I went home and turned it on and it was working fine. 8-levels of illumination and all. This scope is crystal clear, and is probably about 1/2 to 1/4 the price of any equivelent US made scope. I may just get one for my AR.
  6. I just got my new PK-AS-W scope in the mail today. I t has instructions, all in Russian. Unfortunately I can't read it. DOES ANYONE HAVE THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS SCOPE IN ENGLISH? One thing I noticed about it right off the bat. There is a black dot all the time (daytime usage), when I turn on the red dot (low light usage), it is not on top of the black dot. That is why I am thinking I am doing something wrong. Any clues? Thanks guys
  7. I just bought a 74 style break. Perfectly legal. Made in USA too. Flash hider is a different piece of hardware all together. I have not installed my muzzle break yet because I need to thread my barrel. Soon though.
  8. It is the Same here in Calif. Look all yuou want, I think it is unclear because they want it that way. Basically, here, a detachable magizine is anything that is not permanently fixed or takes a considerable period of time to detach. The problem with that is, if you have a "fixed magzine", and you remove that magazine, and there are other "evil features" on your gun, at the time you detach that magazine, you are no longer compliant. You must remove your other "evil" features before you detach your magazine. I have a letter from a lawyer that I was given when I bought my Saiga that clearly
  9. Very SOCOM M1A like. VERY-NIIICE! Being from California, I can't do too much to my Saiga (that I just ordered, in 10 day wait now) except what you have here. I like it, can you tell me where you got all these parts , Scope and mount, etc.
  10. FYI this may be overkill but I carry a copy of my My attorneys business card, my NRA Membership Card, CA SB23 , USC 922R & a parts list detailing my made in the use parts with my rifle just in case I have to explain. From Girmper (above) I plan to do the same. By the way, Who is the NRA recommending in the upcoming primary?
  11. I know that now. Just ordered mine. Fill out the paper work Sat, then the 10-days. It's like a kid waiting for Christmas day to come..............$249 +20 shipping.
  12. No, I'll be first in line...... Could you imagine the surge in gun sales?
  13. You got it Costa Mesa is the place! Coldwarshooters usally has a table in the front of the second building on your left once you walkin the gate. Nevertheless they have a gaint banner displayiong their logo you cant miss em. Coldwarshooters will not give you any crap for asking about saigas or any other questions. They are hella cool guys and girls and you can ask them anything. The best part is you will be able to pickup your NIB Saiga 10 days later with no hassles! The last one I got from them was an '07 - 7.62 for 279$ out the door(that included the 25$ FFL Fee) not bad especially here in
  14. Oh yeah, who was your FFL? If Costa Mesa doesn't work out then I will need to get ahold of someone else. I like this site. I tis informative. And the NRA, I am going to join
  15. My Question to an FFL that does provide one is " Will I end up in Jail if I am caught with one?" The DOJ listing describes a AK Version, which I would assume is the typical "assault" rifle config. It also is specific to say a "Kalishnikov". If you look on the site for the SAIGA's, I would argue this is strictly a hunting rifle in its as sold config. Also, it does not have the bayonet bracket and handle etc that defines a "ASSAULT WEAPON". it is all such a gray area. The name SAIGA, can also apply to a lot of different rifles. It is like saying COLT. On the same SAIGA site, you will see th
