184 views and only 28 posts...c'mon guys, 'fess up. You're among friends.

Odviously mine is an abreviation of the best state out there, and my home, South Dakota and the year I made the profile. I use Sodak everywhere, I have accounts of Sodak95 - '06 all over the internet. Not very creative, I know. I save that for my spare time. :killer:

Mine is a conjuction of first and last names. Years ago, when I first had access to the internet on the university computers where I work, the logon would automatically combine first and last name into an i.d. so it kinda stuck. Yeah, it's not a name that strikes fear into hearts of men and I doubt Marvel Comics will ever use it for one of their evil villains.

It is said that on the eve of battle, he was told by a native of Trachis that the Persian archers were so numerous that, when they fired their volleys, the mass of arrows blocked out the sun. Dienekes, however, undaunted by this prospect, remarked with a laugh, 'Good. Then we'll have our battle in the shade.'" - Histories, 7.226

It started as a contraction of the first two letters of my first and last name but somehow one of the sausages that pass for my fingers hit the hyphen key. Since I have the memory span of a gnat and to keep things simple I kept it whenever registering for a new site/forum.

An interesting spread of influences; geographic, gaming, hacker, metal, scifi, and of course, weaponry.

Keep 'em coming folks.

I picked DEATH and it stuck. So Muerte I am....

ElLoco: A request: Would you mind either scaling that picture down or (ideally) dumping it altogether? I don't mind looking at pretty ladies (even plastic ones like her) but that thing is almost 1 MB and it damn near killed my browser while it was trying to load.

well the scout part comes from how i was in scouting (assistant scoutmaster now they tell me they won't let me go ) and i'm joe...so ya that is where that part came in.

the girl was the first "gun girl" of our group and the best looking....so instead of say me holding one of my guns i snagged a pic of her

BobAsh, another Tulsan :super:

I stole my name from some stupid video game character. He's a fat, nekkid guy in a pig mask that chases you with a chain saw while his weener hangs out.

Sounds familiar, I think I've partied with that guy.

As I was reading the latest IPSC Shotgun Competition Rules my eye stuck on rule 8.6.1.1 that reads:
Competitors confined to wheelchairs or similar devices may be given special dispensation by the Range Master in respect of mobility assistance, however, the provisions of Rule 10.2.11 may still apply, at the Range Master’s discretion.

I liked it very much as I think it proves that shooting is a very nice, democratic, friendly and fair way of competing as well as meeting nice and smart people from all over the world. Anyone can participate in the same match, regardles of age, gender or physical condition (well almost anyway).

As I live in a country where civilian gun ownerships i nearing its end - it seems - I always get appealed by stuff that shows how great it is to own and use a gun.

My avatar speaks for itself when it comes to music. Rock'n roll aint noise pollution...

So as I was reading the rule book, I decided that if I would ever become bound to a weelchair, I would form a world-class team called "Rolling Thunder" and kick some serious ass at all Level-III through V shotgun matches around the world.

- With an attractive female assistant pulling my squeeky wheelchair.

Squeek, squeek, squeeeek.... BANG-BANG!
