FINALLY GOT MY NEW SAIGA VERY HAPPY WITH IT

Pretty gun. I love the skeleton stock! Looks great!!!

Is it 922r compliant?

ya i bought it from a dealer in md brand new like this

Sigh...........

I give up.

I know what ya mean. All the time and effort and money and worrying I wasted staying within the confusing confines of the dreaded 922r code. It is so rarely understood, complied with or ever enforced! The SKS has the exact same problem. I try to help too, when I can. Don't worry about being "that guy". I know it seems silly but some day we might actually save someone from getting caught up with a nasty fine and lengthy prison term. 922r is dirty and will eventually come around to bite someone in the ass!

This is an update to a previous post.

I have changed out the CAA Ergo PG for the Tapco SAW PG and added a BP-02 mount and NC Star Red Dot optic.

I'm still debating on the handguard. I want to get Dinzag's retainer, but just can't justify the expense. For now I'll just keep the original.

She is beautiful BB... WOW!

Here's mine... it's not a Saiga... but I love her. Bulgarian SAM-7. I just today finished her up the way I've always wanted an AK.

A Saiga (AK-103 style) is on the way shortly!

WOW very nice Doc! :super: I was about to PM you today and check on how that was going...

About the overstamped Triangle marking..I think that means the gun was re arsenaled.

Hey what kind of HG is that on the Krebs gun? Looks sweet. That would go good on my .223 with AR PG!

Thanks Micah and Cobra. I learned a lot about welding, milling, bead blasting, Parkerizing, and painting. Got some help from a local very experienced smith. Next project is turning a .223 into a Krinkov-looking thing.

The Krebs looks pretty kool. I was going for an exact as possible duplicate of a 103 and far as I can tell it's pretty close. Wouldn't have bothered if had gotten a receiver without the dimples.

Got the mag from Oleg at Rusmil. It used to have an Izhmash sticker on it but it came off somewhere along the way.
