Something new for Saiga 12

Recommended Posts

This Chaos product just went "Patent Pending" Its designed to mount on Saiga 12 with a factory threaded barrel. Its Patent Pending self locking mechanism automatically locks both in the engage and disengage positions. This should be on market in early to mid September. Weight only 10 oz.

The needle are 1/4" round tool steel and extend 5.9" out with blood grooves. Playing on peoples natural fear of needles this should be a very intimidating add on for Saiga 12. Price not yet determined.porkypine.jpg

Yowza! The photos show it's a bit bigger than I realized. How much does it mess with the balance of the gun?

Acer

Its 10 oz. which you don't feel so much, but with the brake, you start to fill it a little.

Pros, helps reduce felt recoil, Cons your not going to hold out with one hand for five minutes.

Man, I thought my Halo added un-necessary heft to my S12.

That would put the fear of God into the Range Nazi's where I shoot...."Clear your weapon and make it safe" would be a bit more complex....

I'm not at the shop at the moment, so I'm not sure if it will work with the Tromix Shark Brake or not.

That thing could be useful for an Alaskan bush pilot. If the plane goes down, you have the shotgun with slugs for hunting and that contraption for spearing fish in shallow water.

Tony,

I found my calipers and my Shark break measures at 1.067"... so I am thinking we are good!! YAY!!.... all I need now is a date to preorder and for it to arrive.

This might be my answer to getting a bayonet attachment for my Saiga :)

Cameron, how is it activated/deactivated?

WTF is that thing? :cryss: :cryss: :cryss: :cryss: :cryss:

A spring activated fear device?

does it stain easily with blood?

Is it hard to clean?

Will it penetrate skin when released at point blank?

Does it lock open?

Look,... if you do a production Run, I'll buy one :dollar: :dollar: :dollar: . But I am not sure why at the moment,... :ded: :ded: :ded:

Maybe it helps keep the Zombies skull centered while you poach it with buck shot,. Hmmmmm

will u be making this and other parts for the S-20

When I designed this product I had S12, S20, Saiga 410 in mind , so yes this could be available for other models, but not on the first run. My Chaos quick cleanout and piston fits S20.

I'll post pics of those soon!

Sorry its not spring loaded to shoot out, you simply push it out, and it locks in automatically at a lethal position, then to disengage slightly turn the locking disk and pull, once the needles start to move backward even slightest movement, then just release the locking disk and pull back to non-lethal position for automatic lock in.

I do have a concept design on a forward grip slide assembly that allows this product to be engaged and disengaged from the grip, but it would be a little pricey.
