Any Topic I open today does not show the post below the main post but rather a list, and to view any of the posts I have to click on the individual post. Is this new or is this just me?

Look in the upper right of your post and hit the button that says options.
Under display modes, hit standard.... that should clear things up....

Oh for crying out loud! I've been lurking here for months learning about Saigas, which are quite new to me, and thought the list format was the way it was SUPPOSED to be! I just accepted it as normal and managed as well as possible. Very awkward.............thank you.

Back to "silent running".

Wow, I'm glad I finally found that. I've been trying to find more info recently, but got so frustrated with trying to find info I looked other places. I'm glad I tracked this thread down, and I'm glad there was a solution!

I know this is a Necro-Post, but I had to say, THANK YOU Juggernaut!

I had grown so tired of clicking on each individual post that I was beginning to look elsewhere for info, etc!

I, too, am glad that I found this thread. Maybe the mods can remove this feature from the forum software. It would save a lot of headache and keep people from going elsewhere.

Thanks!

I just posted my first thread here about the crappy linear format, made it impossible to surf the forum with any speed. I could see it makeing many people go to other forums. Only thing, is when you click thread options and select it to standard format, is there a way to set that as the default for the rest of the threads you open? Each time i read a thread, i still have to click and change it to standard. Still kind of a pain in the #$$

You should only have to click it once.

The layout change happens to EVERYbody, at least once. I have no idea why.

It seems to do it whenever I click on a google search link to a thread here.

I had that problem once, then tried Linear+. It's my favorite now.
I might end up being around a lot more.

I believe it's a format change. I like the old way better.

If you use firefox, hold your control key and scroll your middle mouse button.

You can also go to View --> Zoom --> Zoom text only (and there are adjustment buttons there)
