hepcat85 0
I'm thinking of using a pair of these on my factory Saiga stock to side mount a sling: Harris Adapter Stud Flange Nut for Hollow Plastic Forends http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/...leitemid=934186 Has anyone tried this? Thanks! Edited September 5, 2008 by hepcat85
gunnysmith 4
You may consider epoxying the nut into the stock
hepcat85 0
You may consider epoxying the nut into the stock You mean the above nut? I drilled a 1/4 hole on the side of the stock and it fits very snug. Seems to work.
gunnysmith 4
Yes, the above nut. It keeps it in place if you remove the swivel for any reason. Put a small amount of Johnsons Paste Wax on the end of the stud where it sticks through the inside of the stock. That will allow the stud on the swivel to be removed easily. Just put it on with a toothpick, just cover the threads before you apply the epoxy.
