It is tapped for 2 setscrews, or you may plug weld thru the holes for permanence. Thanks Darin It is heavier, but it didn't show on my people scale. It is carbon steel, so it may be hardened. It has no restriction past the barrel, the chamber after the bbl stops is larger than the bbl ID. This would have no affect on the shot or pattern, only recoil and blast.
